Hello everyone. Today I want to talk to you about something that really excites me: MIT Technology Review has just published its annual list of the 10 revolutionary technologies for 2026, and there are plenty of interesting things.
Among the highlighted technologies we find sodium-ion batteries, which promise to be a cheaper and safer alternative to lithium. There are also commercial space stations, because it seems that space tourism is getting serious, and new-generation nuclear reactors that could completely change the energy landscape. Not to mention hyperscale data centres, which are what make possible this whole artificial intelligence revolution that we are experiencing.
What draws my attention the most is how all these technologies are interconnected. They are not isolated advances, but pieces of a much larger puzzle that is transforming the way we live, work and relate to the world. And the best of all is that many of these innovations are already here, they are not science fiction.
