It seems that artificial intelligence has stopped being a novelty and has become an indispensable work tool. A recent Gallup study, conducted among more than 23,700 employees in February 2026, reveals that 50% of workers in the United States already use AI in their daily work. And we are not talking about occasional trials; daily and weekly use is at all-time highs, becoming deeply integrated into routine tasks.
The data is fascinating: 28% of employees use AI on a daily or weekly basis, and leaders and managers are the ones who use it most. However, the study also reveals an interesting paradox: although more than half of workers have ignored their companies’ AI tools in the last month, those who do use them report real improvements in productivity. 48% say they can complete tasks with little or no subsequent editing.
