Motorola unveils the 2026 Razr family: four foldables to take on Samsung and Apple

Motorola is in the mood for a fight. Today it has officially unveiled its new 2026 Razr family, and it doesn’t come with one or two models, but with four different devices to cover every user profile. The catalogue includes the standard Razr, the Razr+, the Razr Ultra and the big new addition: the Razr Fold, the brand’s first book-style foldable, which goes head-to-head with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold and Apple’s eagerly awaited folding iPhone.

The entry model starts at $799 (around 740 euros) and comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7450X chip, a 6.9-inch 120 Hz AMOLED inner screen, a 4,800 mAh battery and a dual 50 MP rear camera. Not bad at all for being the little brother of the family. The Razr+ goes up to $1,099 and the Ultra reaches $1,499, positioning itself in the premium range where competition is fiercest.

Availability in the United States is confirmed for 21 May, although there are no dates for Spain or Europe for now. The Razr Fold is undoubtedly the most interesting of all: Motorola has long wanted to prove it can play in the big leagues of the book format, and this device is its most ambitious bet to date. If the price and availability hold up when it reaches the European market, it could be a very serious alternative to consider.
